True Love

True love manifests itself in spontaneous expressions of delight and commitment. It needs no coaxing, no prompting, and no effort to produce. It's life is consumed in the loved one, and nothing deters it from spending as much time as possible in the presence of the one who is all the world to them.

True worship also springs from a love relationship. If it has to be forced, or worked up by circumstances, it is not true love, and it is not true worship. The kind of worship that delights the heart of God, is the kind that flows without thought or effort from a heart deeply in love with Himself.

If we try to prove to God how much we love Him, it is a sure sign that we really don't love Him. The evidence of our love for Him is the absolute spontaneity of our love, which flows naturally from His nature within us. And when we look back, we will not be able to determine why we did certain things, but we can know that we did them according to the spontaneous nature of His love in us.

Oh how beautiful, Andrea! I would have LOVED to have been there!!!

Do you know where the two love birds will be living? =)

I wish you were there!!! I thought about you! :-)

They will be living in David's hometown - Stratton, Ontario. The wedding was held near there as well.

((Hugs!))

Oh, Andrea, if the bride is not the girl I am thinking of, she bears a startling resemblance to her. Is her name by any chance, Sara (twin to Janelle-who married Steve)? -Hannah C

And, do I know you?? CO YBS perhaps?? I remember a Hannah C. from there, but, of course, am not sure about your last name! ;-)

I don't know if I know you, but I have enjoyed reading your blog on and off, just have never posted before. My last name is Champagne. I was at CO YBS in 2001 and 2002. I lived in BC Canada at the time, but live in WA, now. If you talk to Sara at all give her my best wishes! -Hannah
