God's Ways

When God is going to do something wonderful, He begins with a difficulty. If it is going to be something very wonderful, He begins with an impossibility.

Wow, that is SO encouraging! Thanks for posting this quote, Andrea! So true, yet I forget it so often!

"It's always the darkest just before dawn"

Reminds me of Jesus, Lazarus, and Mary and Martha... Jesus had a tremendous purpose in allowing Lazarus to "sleep" so that he could do something so wonderful, for all to see. Mary and Martha could not understand Jesus' response to the tragic death of their dear brother. When Jesus tried to assure Martha that her brother would rise again, she responds that she knows her brother will rise again on the last day. Right away she tries to use her human reason to understand the Lord's purposes. I am too often so guilty of the same thing! Our mortal minds just cannot always accept the challenges and difficulties that the Lord allows us to face. Really, I should be trusting that despite what the circumstances may be, His Glory will inevitably shine thru the darkness...

Well, exuse my ramblings! :-/
Blessings to you and yours!

Oh, I love the flower, too! ;) Beautifully stunning... ~::~
